About the Event
Drew Nugent is a particularly special musician well versed in piano, trumpet, melodica,
and teapot (yes, teapot)...sometimes simultaneously! Drew and his band, the Midnight
Society, specialize in playing Jazz music from the 1920s and 30s. A genre known as
“Hot Jazz”. The group combines authentic old school music, history, and a little bit of
Vaudevillian shenanigans wherever they go. Drew and his Midnight Society can be
heard on eight records, and seen at a wide variety of events, and venues from Philly to
New York to the Hearst Castle and then some!
