Important Information

- Competition is open to all homebrewers of beer & mead and bee keepers who harvest honey

- $10 registration fee is to hold your spot and will be donated to the Philadelphia Bee Keepers Guild, click the link below to pay registration fee. A separate email will be sent to collect more information

- We recommend purchasing your brewing ingredients from Brew Your Own Beer in Havertown. Ask for Eric!

- Homebrewers can brew any beer style, but it must be brewed with honey. We recommend Philadelphia locally sourced honey from We Bee Brothers Honey. You can order by emailing webeebrothers@gmail.com or call Joel (215) 298-2365

- Competition will be on Sunday October 3rd from 2-5pm

  • Please plan to arrive and be set up by 2pm

  • All entrants will be supplied with a table, tasting cups, bin and ice, tasting sticks for honey

- Please bring enough samples for 100 people (example Twelve 12oz bottles or 3 Growlers, 1lb of honey)

- Entrants will sample their beer/mead/honey to customers who will vote for their favorite in each category, along with industry professional guest judges

- Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each category
