Gose is a sour and salty beer that originated over 1000 years ago in the town of Goslar, Germany.  It has become one of our favorite styles since it first began to make a comeback in the craft beer scene several years ago.

Going with a traditional malt bill of German pilsner and wheat grains, we soured the wort in the kettle.  We transfered the final beer on top a ton of pureed blackberries in the secondary.

It's a kind of sour, salty, juicy, blackberry beer smoothie.
