Gose is a sour and salty beer that originated over 1000 years ago in the town of Goslar, Germany.  It has become one of our favorite styles since it first began to make a comeback in the craft beer scene several years ago.

Going with a traditional malt bill of German pilsner and wheat grains, we soured the wort in the kettle.  On brew day, we went a different route on flavor by adding some spiritual cleansing sage fresh from the garden.

Kind of sour, kind of salty, kind of herbal.
