Live Music Thursday: Love? said the Commander & Janel Pascucci

Love? said the Commander is a duo from the Philadelphia area made up of Kate Hall, a sad gal who sings and plays guitar, violin, and percussion, and Chris Bishop, a less sad guy who plays guitar and bass. Combining powerful lyrics and vocals with dynamic guitar work, the two hope to deliver a sound unlike anything listeners have heard before.

A Philadelphia based singer/songwriter, Janel Pascucci has an extraordinary way of getting straight through to the root of her listeners' emotions. Coming from Liberian and Italian roots, she's had a broad music upbringing, and was never subjected to just one genre of music, which has allowed her the freedom to explore the sound she has today.
